Milepost. Mid C19. Cast iron, painted white, with raised black lettering.

Triangular with stop below upper inscription. Inscribed; "LONG WHATTON PARISH, REMPSTONE 7 MILES, ASHBY-DE-LA-ZOUCH 9 MILES. On stop is a small oval plaque inscribed: "WOOTTON BROS, IRON WORKS, COALVILLE".
