LONG WHATTON CLEMENTS GATE SK 4424-4524 (Diseworth) 12/167 Barn 25 metres SSE of No 2 (Cross Farmhouse) GV II

Barn. Circa 1700, altered and part rebuilt C19-C20. Timber framed, the left bay with brick infill, the right bay with some later timbering and corrugated iron cladding. Right gable completely rebuilt in brick. Corrugated iron roof.

3 bays. Centre bay formerly a large cart entry, now part infilled with brick with diaper vents and lower double doors. Original roof trusses with inset principal rafters and double purlins. Included for group value.
