Public House, early C17, extended mid C19. 2 storeys, 2-cell lobby-entrance plan. Timber-framed and rough-cast rendered. Slated roof with axial chimney of red brick. C19 or early C20 3-light small-pane casements. C19 6-panelled entrance door, the lower panels fielded; flat canopy on carved brackets. Back- to-back open fireplaces - that to the parlour brick arched, that to the hall lintelled. Close-studding and unmoulded joists exposed internally. The C19 extension, 3 windows wide to right; painted brick, hipped slated roof, small- pane sashes.
