7/5 Old Rectory (formerly 14.4.67 listed as Rectory)

Rectory. Dated S.S.1830 on rainwater heads. Ashlar with hipped slate roof.

Square plan. 2 storeys. West front: plinth, plat band, cornice, parapet and 4 stacks. 5 bays, centre 3 slightly projecting; glazing bar sashes.

Central 6-panelled door, bottom 2 flush, and rectangular radial fanlight.

Stone doorcase consisting of unfluted Doric columns supporting triglyph frieze and triangular pediment. South front: triangular pediment over centre 3 slightly projecting bays with circular panel in tympanum. 5 bays. Ground floor 2 bay projecting rectangular bay window to right with cornice and parapet.

East front: 5 bays. Central half glazed door with overlight. Interior: quiet early C19 interior with fret ornament on architraves.
