GV II

House now cottages. Late C15 with C16 wing, C18 and C19 encasing. Timber-frame encased in brick, part tile hung and rendered. Older part along road originally 2 bay hall and service bay with solar over, now 2 storey, 3 bay, to rear of hall bays C16 wing 2 storey, 3 bay. Road side front of C18 brick, 3 16-pane sashes, that in centre replacing door. lst floor raised brick band. Above 2 C20 2-light casements replacing sashes. End stacks, prob both inserted C16. S front has to L end of C15 range, tilehung on 1st floor. C16 wing rendered. 16-pane sashes, segmental head casements and C20 casements and doors. Ridge higher and roof out- shot to other side and half-hipped at far end. Internally much of C15 frame survives.

Central open hall truss has arch-braced collar and false hammerbeams. Remains of windows and cross-passage. C16 stack has stone fireplaces on each floor.
