3/15 2 chest tombs approximately 10 metres south of porch of Church of St Oswald

GV II

Pair of chest tombs. Early C18. Gritstone. The southern tomb has a roll- moulded plinth; 2 courses of stone blocks supporting a thick cyma-moulded slab, the inscription undecipherable at time of resurvey. The northern tomb is similar but the plinth overgrown and the blocks weathered.
