5/28 Curved garden wall, railings and gates circa 18 yards west- south-west of Boxted Lodge

GV II

Garden wall. Late C18 or early C19. Largely gault brick. Encloses part of small oval front garden. Terminates to east in plain brick gate-pier with rendered pyramidal cap, which forms west pier of south entrance to garden. Steps down to north beyond a similar, smaller pier, to height of about 2'6", where surmounted by spear-head railings. Small iron gate opposite house.
