BRANSDALE HODGE BECK SE 69 NE (west side) 3/30 Sundial approximately 50 metres south-west of Bransdale Mill GV II Sundial. Pedestal dated 1819; sundial dated 1824. Dressed sandstone with copper gnomon. Square section pedestal approximately 1 metre high, raised on 3 steps, with circular dial stone on top. Pedestal inscribed on 4 faces.

East face North face West face South face John Brown William Quod hora Time and life Joseph Ward Strickland est vide move swiftly Masons AD 1819 (A indecipherable) Edge of dial stone inscribed "AM 5824".
