HARTBURN MELDON PARK NZ 1085 20/52 Piers and screen walls at entrance to Meldon Park GV II Piers and screen walls, early C19. Stone. Ashlar and squared stone. 4 piers, with moulded plinth and caps, flank main drive entrance and pedestrian access to either side; slightly-curved flanking walls of large ashlar blocks hold smaller but similar piers and link to left with taller squared stone wall running to pier with flat cap, and to right with wall of tooled squared stone with flat coping, collapsed after 15 metres.
