UFFORD EAST LANE TM 35 SW (South side) 10/141 - Cartshed c.10 yards west of Willow Farmhouse GV II

Cartshed. C18. Timber framed with clapboard render to the ground floor and some brick infill and clapboarding to the first floor with a pantile roof. Two storeys. Rectangular plan. North side: brick plinth supporting sole plate with 4 wall posts. The first floor is clapboarded with close studding and brick nogged infill shows through where the clapboarding has fallen off. South face: similar. At the time of resurvey (1987) both side walls were braced with shoring braces. West facet central chamfered post to the ground floor opening brought from elsewhere. Clapboarding to the gable, which has a central doorway. East face: similar save for the lack of central post and doorway.

Interior: Knee joists connect the wall posts to the chamfered ceiling beams. Included for group value.
