11/63 Adlen House

GV II

House. C17, remodelled early C19, with some mid-C20 alterations. Timber- frame with rendered infill. Partially roughcast, extended in roughcast rubble or brick, under a slate roof. L-plan, earlier limb extending to west, the other limb to the south. Main stack to west gable of brick. North front of two storeys with three windows, a single-light casement to left and a pair of 2-light casements to right. Ground floor has two fixed casements. Entrance slightly to left of centre has a flat canopy on shaped wooden brackets. Door of six raised and fielded panels. Further entrance in east front has a gabled C20 porch. Framing exposed in north front is one rectangular panel high to the first floor, raised in C19 by a further panel.
