TQ 74 NE MARDEN BATTLE LANE (north side)
2/12 Barn about 25 metres south-west of Verrells Cottages GV II Barn. C17. Timber framed, weatherboarded. Hipped plain tile roof with gablets. 3 timber-framed bays with central midstrey, set at right angles to, but some distance from, road. Weatherboarded porch with double doors and hipped plain tile roof, to west. Lean-to to north side of porch and to south gable end. Interior: gunstock- jowled principal posts, arch-braced tie-beams. Raked jowled queen posts clasping purlins. Intermediate trusses with queen posts but unjowled principal posts. Lath and straw daub infilling to both sides above midrail.
