3/31 Barn about 26 metres north of Blackmoor Farmhouse.

GV II

Barn. Late C16 or early C17. Timber framed, weatherboarded, with plain tile roof. 3 timber-framed bays, with central midstrey. Brick plinth on ragstone base. Hipped roof with gablets. Central full- height double doors to front (north) and pedestrian door to rear.

Weatherboarded lean-tos to right and left gable ends, and to right side of front elevation. Interior: gunstock-jowled posts. Arch- braced tie-beams. Clasped-purlin roof with diminishing principal rafters, high collars, and complete set of windbraces. Intermediate collars between trusses. Tension braces trenched past midrail. Arch- braced central stud to left gable end. Lath and daub infilling above midrail to front wall and gable ends.
