Nave, chancel, 2 side chapels, south aisle and porch. Chancel of 1875-8 by J Walters, nave of 1889 by W Butterfield. Early English transitional style. Lancet windows to chancel, cusped round windows to nave clerestory. Multicoloured stock brick with bands of red brick. Exterior much altered by repairs and additions after World War II, when south aisle was built in order to support nave. Thomas Ford architect for this part. Elaborate Flemish carved stone reredos. World War I memorial, a large crucifixion by Sir Ninian Comper.
