7/91 Fountain 50 metres north of Lower Lodge

GV II

Memorial drinking fountain, horse and dog trough. Dated 1909. Granite. Octagonal basin with octagonal central pillar with spout and urn-shaped basin on the top.

Horse trough with inscription "be merciful to thy beast". Dog basin inscribed "for the doggies" with cast iron plaque of dog. Steps up to the fountain, railings missing.
