BRUNDISH TM 27 SE

Farmhouse. Early C19 front block with older work to rear. White brick, hipped slated roof. 2 storeys. 3-bay facade, the entrance bay set slightly forward. Inset sash windows with glazing bars under flat brick arches. Semi- circular headed window above doorway. 6-panel entrance door, with circular centre panels; semi-circular fanlight with ornamental glazing bars. Roman Ionic porch with renewed fluted columns and a full entablature. Moulded wooden eaves cornice. Older work has C16 core, originally timber framed but much altered and encased or rebuilt in colourwashed brick. Part of a moulded- joist ceiling survives on the ground floor.
