GOUDHURST CRANBROOK ROAD TQ 73 NW (south side) 5/156 The Peakcock Inn GV I Public house. C17 or earlier. Timber-framed and weatherboarded on painted brick base. Two storeys with stacks projecting at end right and large cluster to end left. Two 3-light and central 2-light casement on 1st floor, and two 3-light casements on ground floor, with 2-light casement to left and to right in lean-to outshots. Central paired panelled doors in single raking hood with trefoiled central gable. Rear wing of 1 storey and attic, with hipped dormers and outshot on ground floor.
