C18 front of red brick with old red tiled roof. 2 storeys and attics, parapet.
2 sash windows with glazing bars in reveals under cutter flat arches. Central porch with octagonal Doric colonnettes supporting canted pebbledash bay with 3 light window. Cl9 yellow brick 2 window wing on left in similar style.
Upshire Hall and Lodge form a group with Southend Farmhouse.
