MYRESCOUGH A6 SD 54 SW 8/151 2 pairs of piers with linking walls - at entrance to drive to Myrescough - Hall II Entrance piers and walls, mid C18. Piers of rusticated sandstone ashlar. 2 outer piers of square plan, with dentilled cornices. Each has an Ionic pilaster attached to its west side. Curved walls of squared sandstone blocks with copings link the outer piers to the inner piers, which flank the drive. These piers are also rusticated and of square plan with pyramidal caps.
