GV II

Gateways and railings. c1866. Ashlar, rock-faced stone, cast and wrought-iron. 2 chamfered square ashlar piers with pointed arched panels and pyramidal caps. Between them, single bays of railing, and a central pair of gates with traceried cast-iron piers. Railings and gates have traceried tops. Beyond, on each side, small side gates with iron openwork piers. Beyond again, 2 bays of spearhead railing to right, and 4 bays to left, with rock-faced stone plinth and chamfered coping. Total length approx 50m.
