House, once coaching inn. Late C18 with additions in C19 and C20. Brick, plain tile roof. 5 bay 2-span C18 block with late C19 similar style wing setback and attached to right end and C20 wing to rear at left end. Front 3 storey, 5 bay.

Central altered and half-glazed double door in Doric porch of 2 pilasters, 2 columns, and altered entablature and pediment. Each side and on 1st floor C18 12-pane sashes with rubbed brick arches and stone sills. 1st floor raised brick string course. On 2nd floor small 6-pane sashes with rubbed brick arches. Boxed overhanging eaves to hipped roof with symmetrical stacks to end walls. Inside C18 staircase in hall behind front door with barley-sugar balusters and moulded handrail. Arch with timber panelling and keystone. Most of rest of interior.
