4/22 No.79 (Smithy Tea-Rooms) and No.28

GV II

Pair of cottages. Early C18. Red brick facade to timber frame. Modern pantiles to roof. No.28 has projecting brick porch. Both buildings have been much altered. 2 storeys. Scattered fenestration: modern casements with glazing bars. Segmental brick arches. Both 28 and 29 have modern entrance doors. Plain brick stack over entrance porch of No.28; probably originally lobby entrance. Single storey, former Smithy to right hand gable of No.29 but not listable in its own right.
