5005 (the nearest named road) Crayford Ness, Slade Green Coal duty boundary marker (on foreshore, at mouth of River Darenth, west bank) TQ 57 NW 3/2 II 2.

1851 or soon after. Granite obelisk erected under the Coal Duties (London and Westminster and adjacent counties) Act 1851. About 5 feet high; square with pyramidal top. Carries arms of City of London and inscription: '14 & 15 VIC/C 146'.
