5/13 Newdown Farmhouse
II
Farmhouse. Mid C18. Brick part colour washed, with plain tiled roof, rendered brick stacks. Front range with behind parallel ranges and to left side of them at far end wing. Front 2 storey with attic and basement, 3 bay symmetrical.
Central C18 6-flush-panel door in stucco surround with plain segmental fanlight above. In front timber Doric porch. Either side large C19 12-pane sashes with Dutch arches. 3 regular 9-pane sashes with Dutch arches above. Roof hipped with overhanging eaves, and 3 C19 gabled tilehung dormers, with in centre dormer 2- light casement and in outer dormers 3-light casements. 2 stacks symmetrically positioned behind ridge.
