2/33 Binge Farmhouse

G.V. II

Farmhouse. Mid C18. Red brick. Pantile roof. 2 rendered gable stacks. Dogtooth and dentil eaves. Raised gables with brick coping and tumbled in brickwork. L-plan. 2 storeys plus basement and garret, 5 bays. Moulded first floor band. The left bays are set on a plinth, the right 2 basement bays each have a single blocked window opening under segmental arch. Central doorway with C20 door and overlight. Either side are 2 C20 glazing bar casements in original openings. All ground floor openings have flush wedge lintels. Above are 5 similar casements. The gable of the rear wing is also raised and coped.
