Golf Club House. 1908 by Sir Edwin Lutyens. Neo Georgian style.

Red brick with liqhter red brick dressinqs. Hipped pantile roof with hipped dormers. Single storey and attics. Sash windows with glazing bars. Rectangular main block has a 3-window projecting centre with an octaqonal qlazed cupola. Door has fielded panels and architrave surround. Single dormers on sides of protection and 2 flankinq these. Shallow panels in walls.

Side afiadrant walls with till coping link main block with square corner pavilions. These have arched windows on courtyard sides and roundels to front elevations. Extensions of 3 windows left and riqht of main block behind quadrants with DaraDets. Circa 1979 'rebuilt pavilion behind riqht corner pavilion; weatherboarded and Dantiled. Golf course elevation has glazed c1979 central extension. The winqs each side are 2 windows with leaded dormer casements. (Lutyens Arts Council Catalogue, 1981).
