II* GV 2.
Late C17 house of 2 storeys in brick with parapet and pantile roof with stacks at gable ends. Remodelled early C19. 3 windows, hung sashes with glazing bars, stucco lintels. 2 windows to ground floor with wooden shutters. Door of 6 fielded panels up 4 steps recessed within entrance of reeded pilasters, fluted capitals and frieze, fluted dentil cornice and pediment, lion mask and swags in the tympanum.
Semi-circular fanlight with leaded tracery, panelled soffit and reveals. Rendered plinth with 2 inset foot scrapers. Interior remodelled with delicate ornament in 1806, probably by Matson of Bridlington.
Nos 16 to 46 (even), 46A, 48 to 64 (even), 64A, 66 to 100 (even) form a group.
