CRANMORE CP ST64SE - 4/56 Toll Cottage - - II

Toll house, Early C19. Ashlar, slate roof hipped at one end, ashlar stacks. Gothick. Two storeys, 3:1 bays, later 2-light wood casements in pointed-arch openings, one window with remains of original glazing bars; 2 storey canted bay to right. Door opening to left, plank door, later stone porch with a stone pentice hood, earlier wrought-iron brackets behind. Part of the former Shepton Mallet Turnpike Trust.
