Probably Cl8 in origin. Formerly the Debden Workhouse, converted into private dwellings in 1878. A timber-framed and plastered range of buildings. Two storeys.

Seven window range of mainly old metal casements. Roof thatched, half hipped at the west end. Three ridge chimney stacks. The interior has some exposed transverse beams and ceiling joists.
