4/68 The White House -
GV II
House. Early C19. 2 storeys. White brick, with shallow-pitched hipped slate roof and narrow eaves. 2 chimney-stacks with plain shafts in the rear slope of the roof. The centre front projects slightly, and there are plain full height pilasters at the corners. 3 small-paned sash windows: cased frames, deep reveals, flat arches. Central doorway with a double semi-circular-arched surround: recessed 6-panel door with raised fielded panels and fanlight with radiating glazing bars. Included for Group Value.
