Timber-frame with plaster and brick infill, and painted rubble panel; plain tile roof with twin gables to left front; 3 brick ridge stacks, C19 to left, C20 to centre. Stable range sandstone rubble; plain tile roof with gable to left front. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 5-window range: to right, C17 2-light casement with leaded lights; altered C17 casement; C18 2-light casement; two C20 3-light casements under simple hoods, to left. Entrance to No.1, to centre left: C20 glazed and panelled door, with, to left, two C20 casements under simple hoods. Entrance to No.2, to centre right: C19 part-glazed 6-panel door in moulded wood architrave under simple metal hood; flanked by C20 3-light casements under simple wood hoods. Left returned side: C19 metal casement in moulded case, over C20 casement. Parallel rubble wing to rear, with two C20 metal casements to gable; four C20 windows and 2 doors, under brick segmental arches, to rear. Attached C18/C19 range to right: 2 storeys; 5 openings: C20 light, under circular opening to gable, and 4 loft openings, under brick segmental arches. C20 door and casement to left, with various openings and entrances; built as stable and stock-barn, one bay converted to cottage, C20. INTERIORS not inspected.
