Farmhouse. Late C18. Sandstone rubble; hipped Welsh slate roof; 2 brick axial stacks to rear. Double L-shaped on plan. 2 storeys and cellar; 3-window range: 6/6 sashes in broad moulded cases under brick segmental arches; early C20 roof dormer with 2-light casement under scrolled barge-boards and moulded eaves, to each hip. Central entrance: C20 glazed and panelled door in beaded frame, under simple wood flat hood; flanked by similar sashes. Wing to rear: brick ridge stack; two 6/6 sashes in broad moulded cases, over late C19 6/6 sash and large C18 mullion and transom window with leaded lights and metal casement; brick segmental arches; brick modillion eaves; C20 plank door, in beaded case, under slate-roofed verandah. Further, later wing, probably hop warehouse, at right angles: C19 and C20 lights; brick modillion eaves; tier of loft doors to gable; C19 hop kiln with Welsh slate roof, and cowl, to rear. INTERIORS not inspected.
