ICOMB ICOMB VILLAGE SP 22 SW 2/191 Blackcurrant Row GV II Formerly two cottages, now one. Late C18-early C19. Coursed squared and dressed limestone with dressed stone quoins. Stone slate roof. Front coursed squared and dressed limestone, stack repaired in brick. Rectangular plan with coal house extension to the left gable end. Lean-to extension at rear not of special interest. l storeys with mirror image front. Two 2-light dormers with raking roofs to the first floor. Two 2-light casements with wooden lintels to the ground floor. Two blocked single width doorways with timber lintels at the centre of the facade. Present access via plank door in the left gable end.
Single light to first floor in the left gable end (facing road).
Single-storey coal store with plank door at rear, left of the main body. Single stack at the left gable end.
Interior; two open fireplaces with bressumer beams. First floor formerly reached via a 'ladder' stairs.
