9/58 The Villa -

GV II

House. C18 core, extended and refronted in early-mid C19. Timber framed core, the later work in brick. White brick facade with paired bracketed eaves cornice and hipped slated roof. Plaintiles and pantiles at rear. 2 storeys.

4 sash windows with glazing bars arranged 1:3; those to the left are older, in flush frames; those to the right are inset, with flat stuccoed arches. 6- panel raised and fielded door, panelled reveals. French windows each side of doorway. Axial stack in white brick. The core of the house is a continuation of St. Helen's (q.v.).
