KIRKBY NZ 50 NW 4/144 Dromonby Farmhouse

Farmhouse, probably late C18, 2 builds, perhaps a part or serial rebuilding of a longhouse. Coursed herringbone-tooled sandstone; pantiled roof with stone ridge, copings, kneelers and stacks. 2 storeys, 2 narrow and 1 wide bays. In right part a Victorian 4- panel door with overlight in pilastered wood surround. 16-pane replaced sashes under extended lintels with long keystones. On left return 2 Yorkshire sashes in attic. Lean-to rear extensions.
