3/45 Cinder Hill Farmhouse

GV II

Large house. Second half of C18 on C17 core. Coursed dressed stone. Stone slate roof. Two storeys. L-shape with a further wing at rear and an added stair wing at back of main range. Three-bay symmetrical facade. Raised quoins. Central doorway with later door. 12-pane sashes to ground floor, 9-pane sashes to 1st floor, all in raised surrounds. Hipped roof. 2 ashlar stacks with cornices. Left return has 2 bays of sashes and an added brick porch. The further wing at rear has surviving double-chamfered windows: at basement level and one of 2-lights to 1st floor within an addition.

Interior: 6-panel doors. Window shutters.
