House. Mid C17, refronted in early C18; further later alteration. Timber frame encased in colourwashed red brick; pantile roof with central ridge stack. Baffle-entry plan. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and dormer attic: irregular fenestration.
Central 4-panel door with one 8/8 unhorned sash to right and left. To extreme right, is one 4/4 unhorned sash; to extreme left, a projecting window with glazing bars. On first floor are two 8/8 unhorned sashes, with a 4/4 unhorned sash at far right. First floor platband; saw-toothed eaves cornice. Two raking dormers have glazed cheeks and 3/3 and 3/6 unhorned sashes to left and right respectively. INTERIOR: main bridging beams with sunk-quadrant mouldings and jewelled tongue stops with bars. Open fireplace with some C17 brickwork intact. Winder staircase. Roof of principals, clasped purlins and collars.
