TQ 55 41 SPELDHURST SPELDHURST HILL (north side), SPELDHURST 12/574 Skinner headstone approx 8m south of the nave of the Church of St Mary the Virgin GV II

Headstone. Dated 1745 in memory of Thomas Skinner. Upright sandstone slab standing approx 450mm high. Its shaped curves over a carving of 2 winged cherub heads and a crown. Inscription below is in Roman serif upper and lower case lettering and records the death of Thomas Skinner in 1745.
