TM 03 NW HOLTON ST MARY SAND PITS LANE (north west side) 1/8 - Pintins - II House. Probable late C15 origins with C16 and later alterations. C20 renovation and extension. Timber-framed, rendered. Thatched roof. Red brick stack. One storey and attic, 5 bays. Tudor-arched entrance; lobby-entry plan probably represents a modification of original open hall. Present entrance by C20 exten- sion to rear. C20 casements throughout, 4 eyebrow dormers. Interior: hall has red brick inglenook with chamfered bressummer, contains chamfered arched recess to right. Chamfered beams and joists with run out stops. Studded walls.
