House. Circa 1800, W wing mid C19 in similar style. 2-storeys stucco house with hipped slate roof and plastered soffit to overhanging eaves. A Regency style rectangular house with entrance in centre of narrow S end with 2 front-wall chimneys.

This 3-window front was extended by the addition of the narrow W wing having 3 grouped windows on each floor of its S side and a single window to each floor on the W end. Square pillared porch to half-glazed door in triple screen with fanlight of intersecting circles. Recessed sash windows each side of door have 6/6 panes and moulded wooden cornice at the head. 3 similar sash windows over have louvred shutters. 3 grouped upper windows in W wing similar but ground floor windows interspersed by shallow pilasters with moulded caps about window head height.

Similar pilasters flanking W end lower window support a shallow eliptical blind arch. Garden front on E has semi-circular parapeted stucco bay window next the front corner and 3 triple sash windows to upper floor. 2 sash windows and French doors to right of bay window. Contemporary interior fittings, with moulded panelled doors, shutters, and chimney pieces. Site of a manorial centre in the later middle ages (VCH (1912) 391).
