Pair of houses, a single build. c1730. Brick with plain tiled roof. 2-storeyed, symmetrically-planned, each house 3-window range with outer doorways, differing in detail. No.26 has 6-panelled door with fanlight in moulded architrave with curved console brackets to cornice. No.27 has 4-panelled door and overlight with interlace tracery in lugged architrave. Sash windows, 12-paned to No.26, two-pane to No.27, all with cambered arched heads. Left-hand window on first floor of No.26 is a French window with flat-arched brick head opening on to cast-iron balcony, probably inserted c1800. Moulded modillion eaves cornice. Dormer windows to attic, with alternately triangular and segmentally-arched pedimented heads. Axial stack.
