TQ 3080 NE CITY OF WESTMINSTER WELLINGTON STREET, WC2 73/19 15.1.73 Nos 20 to 26 (even) G.V. II Terrace houses with shops. 1833-35 by Samuel Beazley. Stock brick, stucco dressings, slate roof. 4 storeys and dormered mansards. No 20 with a 2-window front, No 22 with a 1-window front, No 24 with a 2-window front and No 26 with a 3-window front and a 3-window return. Panelled house doors with fanlights, principally to right, incorporated into wooden shop fronts with pilaster strips and console brackets to projecting cornices over fascias, No 20 with a segmental arched display window flanked by colonettes. Upper floors have square headed recessed glazing bar sashes in stucco architraves. Stucco plat bands to 1st and 3rd floors; stucco frieze and crowning cornice with blocking course.

Continuous cast iron balcony to 1st floor.
