2/87 Stable block to Lordship Stud

Stable block with central clock tower dated J.C. 1894 on plaque. Gault brick. Tower with pyramidal slate roof, hipped slate roofs to stable ranges and flanking two storey wings.

Twenty stable boxes including three foaling boxes and sitting-up room. Stable doors with over windows in flat stone arches and twelve-paned side windows. Wooden louvres to each box with ball finials. Clock tower of three stages with double doorway in rusticated brick round headed arch.
