WOODNEWTON MAIN STREET TL0394 (North side) 19/205 Dovecote and attached wash house approx. 5m N of No.48 (Gable End) GV II Dovecote and attached wash house, now outbuildings. Dovecote probably C18, wash house has datestone I.H.1832. Squared coursed limestone with Collyweston slate and pantile roofs. Rectangular dovecote has central door under wood lintel.

Gabled roof. Single-storey wash house, attached to north gable, has datestone in gable end. Interior not inspected but dovecote noted as having 412 nesting boxes.
