C16 or earlier, timber framed farm house with C19 rear parts. Original house only one room deep. Long East front of 2 storeys, 3 windows, long blank walls at ends, that on left with projecting chimney. Random rubble walls with red brick quoins and dressings, probably C18. Tile hung 1st floor. South entrance front of 2 storeys 3 windows, with returned gable at right, the end of the original house. Building on 2 levels to follow hill slope. C19 casements, mostly 3-light. Inside, a large part of the timber framed back of the original house is preserved, with stout timbers, plaster filling and 2 small windows with close-set diagonal wood mullions. Inglenook fireplace and old floor quarries.
Carved beams in attic.
Scords shall be amended to read Scords Farmhouse.
