A large red brick mansion in C17 Dutch style built in 1882 for Walter Maximilian de Zoete. 2 storeys and attics red brick. 3 crow-stepped gables having terracotta brackets and blue brick diaper patterns. Irregular fenestration of mullioned and transomed windows. Large central brick porch with stone balustrading above.

This balustrading continues to the right hand side. Curved open pediment flanked by panels with swag decoration.
