Barsby (south side) 17/77 White Cottage and adjoining dairy

Cottage and adjoining dairy. Mid C18 and mid C19, with C20 additions. Brick and random rubble, partly rendered and whitewashed. Thatched, slate and flat roofs. 2 gable, single ridge and single lateral brick stacks. Single storey plus attics, 4 unequal bays. L-plan. Front has to left small outshut with C20 2 light casement. To right, part-glazed door with C20 canopy and beyond, 2 C19 3 light glazing bar casements. All these openings have segmental heads. Beyond, to left, single storey dairy has C20 cross casement. Above, eaves dormer with 2 light casement with segmental head. East gable has, above, central C20 casement. Rear has off-centre door flanked by single casements.
