GV II

Stable range and cottage, now houses. Late C17, with addition dated 1722, early C19 additions and late C20 alterations. Coursed rubble with ashlar dressing and stone slate roof with single hipped end and 2 ridge and 2 gable stacks. Quoins, single coped gable. 2 storeys; 21 window range arranged 6:13:2. Main block has thirteen 2-light casements with chamfered stone mullions and surrounds. Below, a pair of elliptical arched carriage openings, the left one with a recessed C20 glazed screen, the right one with a pair of board doors. To left, 3 stone cross mullioned windows flanked by single chamfered doorways with heavy lintels and label moulds. Above the central window, a coat of arms. To right, 2 plainer doorways, then 2 unglazed windows and a similar doorway. To right again, former cottage with two C20 3-light casements on each floor. To left, a slightly set back range with an oval window flanked by single round windows and beyond, to right, a 2-light casement with chamfered stone mullion. To left, two C20 square windows. Below, a 2-light stone mullioned window to right. To its left, a small casement, then three C20 square windows. Rear has several renewed stone mullioned windows. INTERIOR not inspected.
