GV II *

Bridge over River Frome. Medieval origin, present structure mainly C16, with later repairs. Stone structure with some brick repairs. Three projecting cut- waters on each side - these also form refuges. Moulded stone parapet coping.

Five arches to main section of bridge - additional brick flood arch added on south in Cl9. Scheduled Ancient Monument. RCHM Monument 6.
