WITNEY HIGH STREET SP3510SE (East side) 9/150 Nos.92 and 94 22/09/75 GV II House. Early/mid C16; later alterations and refronted in early Cl9. Coursed limestone rubble; gabled Welsh slate roof; brick end stack. L-plan with rear right wing. 3 storeys; 2-window range. Lead pentice roof over carriageway flanked by square bay windows which have C20 door to left and late C19 tripartite sash to right. Timber lintels over early C19 tripartite sashes on first floor and 8-pane sashes on second floor. C18 rear wing of similar materials with brick ridge stack. Interior not inspected but noted as having stop-chamfered beams. Central carriageway has evidence of former C16 through-passage, with morticed stop-chamfered partition bean to left and early/mid C16 plank-and-stud partition to right with chamfered rail and muntins.
